Call of Duty World League heads to Paris

The Call of Duty World League continues its 2017 season as more than 70 top eSports teams from across Europe and North America come to Paris to compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool, and take another critical step toward the CWL 2017 Championship.

Starting today, the best of the best in Call of Duty are facing-off during the CWL Paris Open, hosted by ESWC at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, February 17th – 19th February.

The 2017 season is in high-gear, as the CWL Paris Open follows thrilling competitions held already in Las Vegas, London, and Atlanta, where teams have continued to raise the competitive bar on the march toward this year’s CWL Championship in August.

Winners of the past three events will be attendance as Rise Nation, Orbit, and eUnited all seek to be the first multiple event winner this season. CWL Atlanta Open winner, eUnited, has the chance to be the first team in Call of Duty competitive history to be winners of back-to-back weekend major events.

As part of the road to Champs, players can compete for coveted CWL Pro Points online via GameBattles, and at live events around the globe. In addition, top teams from North America, Europe, and APAC will be invited to compete in the first ever CWL Global Pro League, beginning this April with more than $1.4 million on the line.
