New Super Mario Bros. 2 is all about grabbing as much gold coins as possible on the way to rescuing Princess Peach, presumably because the prissy princess will want to go on a shopping trip immediately. Nintendo has released some gold-heavy screens, and predictibly it’s mostly Mario characters rendered as solid gold.
