Sony has admitted that it doesn’t know when the PlayStation Network will be back online.
The service has been offline since last Wednesday, caused by an ‘external intrusion’, details of which Sony are remaining tight-lipped about.
There is as yet no indication that accounts have been compromised, but users should check their credit card statements for any strange transactions.
The downtime has come at a terrible time for many, particularly those who were looking forward to playing Portal 2 and unlocking the free Steam version.
