Kameo: Elements Of Power

Originally due on the Gamecube, then switched to the XBox when Microsoft bought out Rare. Now it's here as a launch title on the 360.

Kameo is the name of the game’s central; character - a female elf not unlike Link - but she can assume different forms with a little touch of magic.

She needs to recue each of her elemental warrioirs from the clutches of the shadow trolls. Once freed they can be assigned to a button and their specific skills can be called upon at will.

You’ll need to use the warrioris’ special abilities well to progress through the story, unlock the way ahead and defeat different enemies.

The variety stops the gameplay becoming repetitive. As with all Rare titles, Kameo is a beautifully-crafted game, with polished graphics and amazing details while retaining a cartoon element.

Not totally original, but a sign of what to expect on the Xbox 360.
