Golf titles are always popular console games and, like in the real world, Tiger Woods has been top of the pops for as long as we can remember. That is why we are seeing EA Sports' golf sim on the launch list for the Xbox 360.
While it’s not the best game to show off the next-gen graphics available on the 360, you will see occasional glimpses of the power in Microsoft’s box. The human modelling is used brilliantly to show off Tiger’s range of emotions, whether he be annoyed with a wayward tee shot or ecstatic with a chip in from the bunker.
The analogue stick swing and zooming targeting system remain unchanged from the XBox version, and although the courses have changed very little, the additional detail is clear.
As you would expect this is the best golf sim yet although EA could have done more to offer new features.
