Bust-A-Move DS

Recreating arcade classics on handhelds is a fairly easy thing to do and taps into the nostalgia that mangy gamers feel for the old games they used to spend all their pocket money on.

But Bust-A-Move DS has gone one further by taking advantage of the touch screen to enhance the gameplay of this well-known title.

The player uses the stylus to fling coloured balls up to the top screen and try to link up three or more of the same colour to eliminate them, as the stack slowly moves down the screen. If it hits the bottom before you’ve wiped out all the balls then your number’s up.

Multiplayer mode allows for five people to play head-to-head using only one copy of the game, and adds a competitive edge for those who like to beat their mates.
