Miami Vice
Miami Vice defined the 80's, with its Ferrari-driving, pastel-clothed cops Crockett and Tubbs.
If you’ve had your head in the sand in recent months you’ll be delighted to hear it has been made into a movie, starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx and, as is the norm nowadays, an accompanying game tie-in.
At the start you can play as either of the main two characters, although the storyline and abilities are identical.
Despite supposedly being undercover, you’ll soon find that there’s very little stealth involved, other than sneaking into a safe spot to take out the bad guys with your laser guided gun.
Running and gunning is virtually impossible because of the lack of lock-on, which gets frustrating as the game progresses.
Wi-Fi co-op mode, where one gamer plays Crockett and the other Tubbs, is a welcome addition but it doesn’t make up for its other flaws.
