What happens when friends, family, and celebrities become Mii characters and live together on an island? Tomodachi Life happens!
Nintendo’s Sims-like adventure on the 3DS is fun and easy to play and everything that Nintendo do best. Tomodachi is Japanese for ‘friend’ and that’s what this whole game is about.
Start by creating Mii characters on your own island and customise them however you want. You can recreate your friends, co-workers, your family, celebrities – whoever you want. Give them items, voices and their own unique personalities, then watch as they rap, rock, eat donuts, fall in love, break up, go shopping, play games and live their crazy Mii lives.
Share your Mii creations and import them from other people. Want pop star Christine Aguilera or basketball legend Shaquille O’Neale in your game? Head on to the Tomodachi Life website, scan in the QR codes and away you go!
When married couples have kids, they can eventually decide whether that child stays on the island or travels the world. If you choose to let them travel, they’ll go to other players’ islands via StreetPass. But don’t worry -they’ll send you postcards!
