The creator of the popular mobile game Flappy Bird has apparently decided to take the pluck the game from the app store.
Nguyen Ha Dong posted a tweet stating ‘I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ”Flappy Bird” down. I cannot take this anymore.’
The Hanoi-based game developer, who has been earning an estimated $50,000 per day from the game, says he plans to remove the game from Apple and Google’s online stores at 5pm today.
He denies suggestions that he is facing legal action from Nintendo, or that he has sold the game.
