Last weekend Ubisoft ran an open beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division, and a massive 6.4m players participated, spending an average of nearly 5 hours as sleeper agents journeying through the New York Dark Zone.
The beta was an opportunity for Ubisoft to test its online infrastructure, while also giving players the chance to try the game for the first time and offer valuable feedback.
